Emotions and Art

The great artist Paul Cezanne once said, "A work of art which did not begin in emotion is not art."  Truer words have rarely been spoken.

The kids reveled in an art project today, which allowed them to use their creativity and talent in drawing, and gave them the opportunity to take a well-deserved break from the grueling 5th grade curriculum.  The subject was EMOTIONS.  Everyone picked a few, and drew their rendition on paper.  The result was surprising and impressive!

They are currently displayed in the computer room, so please take a look when you get a chance!  It is truly a collective work of art.
